    Default Tom Glavine

I think it may be time to end what's been a great career....

That doesn't have a nice ring to it. Not good news at all. I believe your right, it's probably the right time to throw the towel in. There's no doubt he's had an absolutely great career and he's ahelluva gentleman, a true athlete.

Looks like Glavine only has a inflamed rotator cuff, but he's still thinking possible retirement. Looks like we'll have to play it day to day.

Meanwhile, Braves lost tonite against the Marlins.

Marlins was just alittle better than the Braves tonite. Hopefully Derek Lowe will get the Braves back in the win column tomorrow.

Yeah the bats went silent tonight, I know vazquez got the loss, but did you see he had 12 k's in 6 innings. That is freaking tough. I didn't get to see the game, just saw the box score on ESPN. Looked like the only run was from K. Johnson homer. He is in a nice groove.

Ouch,,,,,another Braves loss to the Marlins, 10-4. The Braves matched them for runs half through, but the second half was all Marlins. The Marlins are some tough competitors. Braves need to win Thursday's game to only drop down one game from the Marlins.

    Let's Go Braves!

WOW....4 losses in a row. Braves headed in the wrong direction. Shutout today in the hands of the Pirates.

They've got to get Chipper back in the lineup, even if he doesn't contribute the fact that he's there does something for this team. Over the years The W-L record without him in there is horrible.

I agree. They definitely need his bat. Hopefully when he comes back they can get back on the winning road.

Chipper is back in the lineup and all of the sudden the Braves are hitting again, even schafer has found his stroke.

Good game for the Braves, 11-1. They finally broke the dreaded streak. Now maybe they can all stay healthy.

I don't know what to say.....2 in a row to the Nationals, they only had 1 win before this series and know the Braves may get swept.

Braves avoid sweep, win 1-0. Thank God, a sweep at the hands of the Nationals would have been terrible. Of course losing 2 out 3 isn't that damn good either.

Yeah, instead working on a sweep like they where in the first few games they are now the ones avoiding a sweep. Boy things change so fast.

I actually thought they were going to get back on track (winning track) with playing Washington, yeah what a joke.

    OK, new set coming.

yeah, consistency is what we need to see now. But it was a nice change from what they have been doing.
