    Default Classic album covers

    werthliving.com

I thought it would be cool to acknowledge famous if not interesting album covers or album artwork. This is something that as a teen in the 70's, I couldn't wait to look at the new LP's. Almost as fun was to crack open the LP's and see if lyrics or artwork was inside the sleeve. Too bad this joy is past.

Anyway - what made me think of this was the passing of lead singer from The Knack. I always liked this photo shot which if I remember was on the front of the little 45 single and also on front of this live recording I guess. Hah, hah - remember those?

Enjoy and post some classic covers!

Exactly! Michael Jackson has others. Thriller, and what's the one where he is wearing white and kind of laying on his side. A classic album for sure.

Good call. They always had the best cover art. When I used to go into record stores as a kid with my older sister I'd always see their posters on the wall and want to hear their music.

No, they had like 3 singers before him I think between '77-'80. A lot of people think he ruined Black Flag because they got really dark and weird after he joined, before that they were just straight up punk rock. Damaged is the greatest punk album ever imo.
