No offense war, but damn. Cleveland is on a huge roll. That being said - if Atlanta could figure out a way to make Cleveland stumble, that would be way cool. Go Atlanta! LOL!!

Not gonna happen!! Injuries are killing them, Joe Johnson played more minutes then anyone in the NBA and Cleveland is just better. I hope they win one, but I feel a sweep.

Yeah, I'm hoping for one as well. Two is wishing too much, but one would be nice so Cleveland doesn't get too confident. So far the game is very close going into the 4th quarter.

Looks like we are heading to a Cavs/Lakers finals. I'm sure you and drbrosco will have some good smack talk going. Tell him I said the Cavs suck and if it wasn't for the refs giving all the calls in favor of Lebron the Hawks would have won in 4.

What often happens after a key player goes down is that the other players really step it up the next game and the other team relaxes. When Garnett went out the Celtics kept on winning as if he never left...for a few weeks. The Lakers really haven't been playing great basketball for quite while, which not by coincidence is right after Bynum went down and the Lakers beat Boston and Cleveland on the road. A key injury can really rally a team and step up their game for the short term. Hopefully the Lakers can play at a higher level the next two games because obviously Houston is going to make them earn it.

I hope so, I'd like to see a Cavs/Lakers finals. Besides how boring would it be to watch the Rockets move on...yuk!

Yeah, I don't think Kobe is going to play much the rest of the way. I hope the Lakers look like this on Thursday!

So do I. The Lakers need to play with this defensive intensity the rest of the playoffs.

You damn Laker fans, getting worried over nothing, just because they didn't sweep. Try being a Hawks fan, I would have just taken a win. The Hawks have pretty much maxed out their potential. they are good and can win a series in the playoffs but without a real superstar they're never gonna reach the finals. And the current owner group is never gonna pay that kind of money to one player. I wish I had your worries, but at least your not like Celtic fans.

Remember the 90's? I was happy when the Lakers got out of the first round. I was happy when USC went to the Sun Bowl, and god forbid that the Dodgers make it to the playoffs! LOL!

I have to turn off the sports talk radio stations when the Lakers lose because everybody calls for Phil Jackson to resign, etc. Everybody just freaks out.

Who knows, now that Atlanta is tasting victory they'll get a superstar. You never know.

Oh, by the way, +100 on your Celtic fan comments. Good lord!!

Yeah, the overreaction to a road loss is amazing. I'm looking forward to getting the depleted Rockets out of the way so we can play the Nuggets. Let's see how they play at Houston this time, but I predict a 15 point win.

You think the Nuggets are going to give the Lakers a hard time? How were the regular season matchups?
