    Default West Regional NCAA Playoffs

    werthliving.com

Sprink and I have tickets to the NCAA West Regional first round of playoffs. It is being played at the Rose Garden in Portland Oregon.
I couldn't pass up the opportunity as I live about 7 miles from the Rose Garden. I'm pretty sure UCLA will be there.
Anyone else have thoughts as to who else might be there?
    Anyone else plan on attending?

It will be either Washington, UCLA or Arizona St. as a high seed in the west bracket. Hopefully we'll get a East coast or Mid-West school, that's in the top 10. Gonzaga may also be seeded for the West bracket. If Cal gets in, I hope they are in the West bracket, but more than likely they would end up in another bracket.

Cal for you and Oregon for me. Problem is Oregon hasn't won any games.

Unless they win the Pac 10 tournament it's not possible to see them at the Rose Garden.

I just read where the brackets will be announced on March 15th. Four days before the opening round.

Yeah, that's the last day for the schools to finish their league tournaments. It's tough on schools that need to travel cross country, they have a shorter time to prepare for their bracket opponent. They'll lose a day of practice, because of the travel.

Duke is a great team. I'll bet it was a lot of fun.
It would be nice to see an east coast team like Duke, Pittsburgh or UConn get sent out west. Just not holding my breath.

I love watching games on TV that are at Cam. The crowd is basically on the court with the players, it's awesome.

That was a great game. I thought we (SC) had the momentum going into overtime.

Looks like the Trojans are on the bubble for sure. We need to string together a few wins!

Cal should be in for sure.

SC still has Stanford this weekend and two more at home...that was a good game last night....Cal has the Arizona schools still to play to end the season...I would love to watch them beat UCLA...UCLA has a good team, but anything can happen in Pac 10 play this year, no one is very dominant this year..

Unfortunately Cal lost. The flagrant foul call in the first half sucked big time. That rule needs to be changed. UCLA got 7 points from it. Ended up being the difference.
It would be great if Oklahoma was bracketed in the West regionals. Would love to see Blake Griffin play. Awesome player.

UCLA is a good defensive team......they stepped it up in the second, that 7 points before the half didn't make the difference..The Huskies have a very very good defense...

But UCLA didn't play the Huskies, either one.
The Huskies comment came out of leftfield.
