Do you have the movie Pulse if yes check out the scene in the hospital or WWZ hand grenade. Let us know how you like it.

I only rented WWZ, but loved it with one, I know 2 would be badass.

One of my test scenes has been from Tranformers 1, where Hound uses his cannons to flip over the lady in the street. When the scene slows down, the bass hits lowwwww. Best I ever heard it last night. I firmly believe the jump from one VTF15 to two was more of an upgrade than going from the VTF2 to the VTF15. The second sub in this large room seems to have done wonders.

If you have Fry's close by pick up pulse it's $4. I'm also thinking about getting one more for my room. But the problem is I'm also thinking about getting a new projector screen.

    Get both LOL!

They do eat up space. I figure when we build and I do the finished room over garage, fitting 5.2 in there with a screen will be fun!

I've got the room for a second sub but need to decide what to get first. That's the big problem.

    New subs from Hsu coming:

    VTF-15H MK2 Subwoofer
    http://www.hsuresearch.com/products/vtf-15hmk2.html
Little more oomph and better driver with more power. Going to sell one of mine to a friend late this year and grab a MKII to go with my MKI.

    VTF-3 MK5 HP Subwoofer
    http://www.hsuresearch.com/products/vtf-3mk5HP.html
Great deal there for a 15".

Here are a couple of graphs. I'm using one port plugged EQ1, Q5 and facing 90 degree angle with the drivers facing the front speakers.

Looks good. My duals fell off by 5db at 40 and then fell off a cliff at 30hz in my room. The Rythmiks solved that issue and I am pretty flat down to about 14hz.

    85db target

I compress from 16 to 40hz from 110db and up, but with a 115db target they muster from 40 to 100. All the rythmiks did was give me a little more output overall, but a lot more below 30hz. Was a pricey upgrade though.

When i did tests with just one Hsu, man it was nasty. I'll always own dual subs going forward, as long as I can.

The family room opens up to the kitchen and then into the living room.
