    Default Proud of my Son

    werthliving.com

A few days ago, my 11 year old son and I had a few minutes to kill so we went into Best Buy. When we got there I found out they have the SONY UHD TV. We checked it out and it looked great, then they started to show a preview of the remake of Total Recall, obviously they had motion smoother on high, and my son, not knowing this movie said 'this is a video game preview'. I was so proud that he knew instinctively before I told him that something was wrong with the picture. Hopefully this means I am raising a child who will switch off motion smoothing when he buys tv in the future.

    Good stuff

I can't believe how many people at big box stores gawk at the TVs with the egregious frame interpolation and think it looks cool.
