    Default LG B6 vs. E6

Is there any difference between the B6 and E6 LG sets other than the E6's picture-on-glass cosmetic and classier looking stand?

side by side comparison factory list, I believe major difference is the 3D feature (why)and 4K capable.......in case you haven't already done this.

They're both 4K. Only a couple of old curved models aren't. But yeah, the B6 doesn't do 3D, which doesn't matter to me.

I was not a real 3D fan, but the passive OLED 3D is freaking awesome and it pulled me back in.

Chad B cal'd mine for 2D and 3D, image is impressive.

Well, I got the B6, and it certainly delivers a great picture. Also pleasantly surprised by the appearance of the base, which looks better than in the photos. Anyhow, there's a setting on the display to "clean up panel noise" and another to shift the image to prevent "panel noise." Is "panel noise" LG-ese for image retention or something else?

Not sure. My '15 runs compensation cycles when you turn it off to basically wipe any IR (something I have NEVER had an issue with). It is set in the service menu to run for 10 mins after power off, after the display has been on more than 2 hours. I read the '16's had features in the menu where you could force a comp cycle.

That's what it is, then. Yeah, the B6 lets you manually start a cleaning, but they warn that it takes a long time to complete.
